When I’m not writing or looking to family, dogs, and everyday chores, I spend my time on arts and crafts projects. This is nothing new; I’ve been interested in this kind of thing since about age seven when a family friend taught me how to weave potholders on the old fashioned frames that were so common at one point.
I have worked with paints (acrylic, watercolor, alcohol ink) both on paper and digital platforms, clay (raw, polymer, mosaic), doll design and making, and a whole range of fabric and textile arts from embroidery to mixed media quilting. I cycle in and out of different skill sets depending on what else is going on in my life. For the last five years I have been focusing primarily on two-dimensional digital art, and I am finally thinking of how to share this work.
