You may be wondering where you are, and why Sara should be laughing. It’s quite straight forward: my name is Rosina Lippi, the pen name I write under is Sara Donati, and the little company called SaraLaughs is my corporate identity. I picked the name on a whim 25 years ago, and I still quite like it.
Saralaughs is the landing page that will take you to all the bits and pieces about my novels – often in great detail -, as well as notes on writing more generally, surviving the publishing business, my social media spots, and more recently, my arts & crafts work. PLEASE NOTE that the FAQ pages are missing. I hope to make progress on restoring them in short order.

I am writing, really. But I am writing slowly. We are in chronic crisis mode, and as of just now there’s no obvious light at the end of the tunnel.
The Mathematician is fighting hard to stay on his feet, in more than one way. Most currently he is waiting to be scheduled for lumbar spinal fusion, the bane of tall people past 65. That is complicated by an unexplained case of cellulitis to his ankle that has to be resolved before the surgeon will pick up a lancet. Juggling antibiotics and pain meds: not for the faint of heart. And his spine is just one of the challenges.
The used-to-be-a-girlchild is still struggling, now for half her life, to reign in the OCD that controls her day-to-day existence..
So I’m writing, sentence by sentence, while I keep my people afloat as best I can. Please be patient.
